Lee was commissioned as a judge in March, 1989 and promoted to Senior Judge of High Court in February, 2011.

Having served in courts of all levels including the Supreme Court, Lee retired in March, 2019 after 30-year period.

Lee has broad knowledge and profound learning of law, based on overall hands-on-background throughout the Civil Law, Family Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, and Constitutional Adjudication Law.

And also Lee received LL.M. degree of General Studies at New York University, School of Law, focusing on Intellectual Property, Mediation and Arbitration. Especially, Lee served as a senior judicial researcher at the Supreme Court for 3 years and dispatched as a constitutional researcher to the constitutional court for 2 years. Therefore, Lee was able to have much experience in the field of public law.
