Kil Ho Shin is on the construction and real estate team of Hankyul and his practice is focused in the areas of large-scale SOC construction projects such as railroad, airport, harbor, communication, and electricity facilities, real estate PF projects, construction costs, bidding, contract management, construction claims, overseas construction projects, administrative litigation, fair trade, and corporate rehabilitation, etc. Especially, Kil Ho Shin has a long experience of advising clients and litigating cases in the areas of construction claims and fair trade and recently his practice is focused on the corporate rehabilitation procedures for the domestic and overseas golf course operators and real estate development companies, etc. Kil Ho Shin also provides advice and conducts litigation on a variety of matters relating to domestic power generation projects.

 

In addition, as for the fair trade area, when Kil Ho Shin worked for Seoul High Public Prosecutors’ Office, he was responsible for directing administrative litigation of Fair Trade Commission and other organizations, and completed the 17th (Fair Trade Law) and 25th (Fair Trade Law) Research Course on the Specialized Area of Law at Seoul National University School of Law. He still advises clients and conducts litigation on collusion by domestic construction companies and unfair trading practices, etc.

 

Based on such experience and specialized knowledge, since 2005, Kil Ho Shin has given lectures on issues relating to construction disputes including construction claims at Korea Institute of Construction Technology Education, Kwangwoon University Graduate School of Legal Affairs in Construction, Incheon Metropolitan City Human Resources Development Center, Korea Engineering & Consulting Association, and numerous construction companies. He also serves as a member of various construction-related contract review committees and construction technology review committees of numerous organizations including Korea Institute of Construction Engineering and Management.
